Allen vs. Webb: Smackdown!

George Allen is not apologizing for that bizarre incident when his staff initiated a take down of a somewhat-peaceable protester while GA was on the campaign trail on Tuesday.

"It was typical of the Webb campaign, wanting to provoke an incident," Allen said Wednesday. He did not say why he believes the Webb campaign provoked the stunt.

The guy probably was from the Webb campaign, but didn't Allen learn - or at least tell his posse - to back off from those people? Remember the last time he got in a tangle with a Webb staffer? (think "macaca"). That's just bad strategy.
