Foley Fallout: More bad news for the GOP

A new poll from GOP insiders shows that voters have soured on Dennis Hastert and the GOP leadership in Congress in the wake of the Foley scandal, and that 50 seats could be lost by the GOP in the election.

"The data suggests Americans have bailed on the speaker," a Republican source briefed on the polling data told FOX News. "And the difference could be between a 20-seat loss and 50-seat loss."

50 seats? They may be setting the bar extra low to make any loss under that seem to be a success. They'll probably lose the House, but not by 50 seats.
